Hey I’m Eva!
Hi ya'll, I'm Eva Braasch, a Junior, from Dallas, Texas, studying Economics and Textiles and Apparel with a concentration in creative and technical design, and pursuing and Certificate in Elements of Computing at the University of Texas at Austin.
I have been sewing and creating all my life. My grandmother started teaching me to sew as soon as I could, and since then it's been a passion of mine. I also took art every year of school, culminating in my senior year International Baccalaureate Art Show, which featured a large hand sewn portrait of my grandmother. Additionally I have a passion for baking. I've been baking all my life, even working at my local bakery Village Baking Company for 3.5 years!
I have always been interested in both business and sewing. I started my own mask business, Eva's Masks, during Covid, selling over 500 masks.
I am interested in technical design, creative design, and buying in the fashion industry, but would like to stay in the South.
I love spending time with friends and family, being outside: hiking, pickleball, volleyball, dogs, baking, and sewing
Some Things I Love
I’ve always been super creative. I love art, sewing, and baking. I worked at a bakery during high school and took art all 4 years. Growing up playing sports taught me to be pretty competitive, I love playing and watching all different sports. I played volleyball for 10 years all the way through high school, and was on the NCAA Texas Women’s Rowing Team for 2 years. At Texas I love going to all different games and meets. I also love my dogs, I currently have 3 dogs and love to run with them and just spend tons of time with them.
